Pre-orders for ARK: Survival Evolved on Nintendo Switch and consoles live

Earlier this year, developers of popular survival game Ark: Survival Evolved announced that the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. Today, worldwide distributor Solutions 2 Go announced that the pre-order campaign for the multi-platform release of the ARK series has begun. Launching in Fall of 2018, three new titles will be available on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR.

ARK: Survival Evolved

Starting off with the major release: Ark: Survival Evolved for the Nintendo Switch. This edition of the game includes all the contents and features of the original game that you can play at home or on the go. All aspects of the game such as exploring, crafting, survival and combat are available to experience in single player or as a team with thousands of other survivors. More than 100 creatures inhabit the world of Ark, such as the T-Rex, Giganotosaurus, Rock Drake and Reaper. Ark: Survival Evolved will retail for $49.99 USD upon launch.

PixArk

Another title that will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is PixArk. PixArk is essentially a Minecraft-esque take on the original Ark series. It features a completely different art style set in a huge world comprised of cubes. The game targets audiences of lower ages and will hopefully receive a warmer welcome than it did on PC. PixArk will retail for $39.99 USD upon launch.

Ark Park

The third and last game that is a part of the pre-order campaign is Ark Park. Released on PC and PS4 in March 2018, Ark Park is a virtual reality title that takes the player through a series of theme park attractions. Players can interact with and explore the realistic environment filled with many species of dinosaurs. Ark Park allows players to engage in multiplayer and experience the thrill of the park with friends.
