Google Go Will Now Read Webpages for You

The modern-era has more conveniences to offer humans than we can handle. AI, speech recognition and much more is changing the way we use our devices and now, Google is again trying to innovate the way we do things.

Back in July, Google teased a feature for the Google Go app that would allow users to read web pages, or should we say listen to them. Google will read web pages for you. Yes, you heard that right; Google will now read web pages for you which is, in fact, a great feature.

While most will just become lazier by allowing Google to now even read web pages in addition to doing a host of other things for the user, this feature can actually be helpful for the elderly and those who have a hard time reading due to any number of reasons.

The feature still doesn’t have a final release and only some reports have arrived claiming that the feature is rolling out slowly to the public. However, it is a fact that Google is working on automatic webpage reading so it is only a matter of “when” not “if.”

If you are a Google Go user you may be one of the lucky ones to have received the update. For the rest of us, it is a waiting game for now before we can test feature ourselves. It would be interesting to see how Google Go will compete with other third parties apps that offer the same feature.

One of the most popular apps is Aloud Reader that is currently available on Google Play Store for free. It has a 4.4-star rating and highly positive reviews from the community of Android users.

We will keep you updated as soon as there is more to share about Google Go’s new web page reader.
