VirtualBox 5.2.18 Maintenance Update fixed VM process termination on RDP client disconnect
Virtualbox developers released a maintenance update for virtualization solution on the 14th of August, 2018. The latest update raised the version of VirtualBox to 5.2.18.
According to the Changelog of Virtualbox, the following additions and improvements were made to Virtualbox:
- VMM: See user manual.
- VMM: Fix loading with recent binutils and self-built versions of VirtualBox (bug # 17851)
- NAT: Fix -nataliasmode sameports which is a valid setting (bug # 13000)
- VRDP: fixed VM process termination on RDP client disconnect if 3D is enabled for the virtual machine
Users can download the latest version of the virtualization software for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux from this download page. The users should note that an updated version of the VirtualBox Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack is also to be downloaded and installed. VirtualBox is absolutely free to use for all users, but for the Extension Pack there are specific license terms and conditions.
