Wield Aquilonian Weapons in Conan Exiles Jewel of the West DLC

Conan Exiles, the survival game by Funcom, just received its latest downloadable content. The Jewel of the West DLC has been released and lays the foundation for upcoming major updates. While the DLC does not include major changes to the game, there a bunch of Roman-themed cosmetic items.

The Jewel of the West DLC mainly focuses on adding Aquilonia-themed buildings, weapons, armor, furniture and more. A short trailer for the content update highlights the majority of the additions, check it out below:

Aquilonia is the center of the civilized world and the new content allow players to build homes and monuments in the grand style of this great nation. New Aquilonian weapons include the Greatsword, War-Axe, Longswords, Mace, and more. Head into battle wielding Aquilonian weapons and donning the Scout light armor for extra protection. Players who enjoy character customization will welcome the addition of new war paints. New structures and buildings can be constructed out of smooth and beautiful marble.

While the game continues to receive regular minor upgrades, the developers have been working on a major free content update for Conan Exiles.

“The team is currently working hard on finalizing a massive free update that we’re aiming to launch in September,” says Creative Director Joel Bylos. “This update will introduce pets and taming, an entirely new gameplay feature. We’re also adding a new dungeon, a new religion, a new avatar, and more. This update will be free for all players on all three platforms.”

In total, there are 39 new building pieces, 15 new armor pieces, 9 new weapons, 25 new placeable items and 5 new warpaints.
