ASUS Launches Budget Gaming Board with RGB Lighting and 3 M.2 Ports

Asus introduced a new budget gaming motherboard expanding it’s lineup, based on the B360 chipset which supports the LGA1151 socket housing the latest 8th generation processors from intel. This is a micro-ATX board but Asus has made good use of space and packed the board with a good number of expansions. Like the rest of the motherboards in Asus’s tuf lineup, this comes in a characteristic black and yellow colour scheme. The board draws power from a standard combination of a 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors. There’s also four DDR4 DIMM slots present along with a reinforced Pci-Express 3.0 ×1 slots, and three M.2 PCLe slots.

Asus has also put rgb lights on the top right of the board with a 4-pin RGB LED header which can be controlled through AuraSync RGB software. This board has two M.2 Socket 3, supporting 2242/2260/2280 storage devices in SATA & PCIE 3.0 x 4 mode and 6 x SATA 6Gb/s ports for storage connectivity. For audio there’s a entry level Realtek® ALC887 8-Channel Audio Codec. Networking is handled by an Intel i219-V controller driving a GbE interface. For USB connectivity there are two USB 3.1 gen 2 ports, two USB 3.1 gen 1 ports and five USB 2.0 ports. This motherboard is expected to be priced around USD $120.
