Monster Hunter: World Running Above 30 FPS On The AMD Ryzen 5 2400G With Vega 11Graphics
Monster Hunter: World has sold more than 2 million copies on PC and that is a huge number keeping in mind that the PC version just came out a few days back. It has been a few months since the launch on console and Monster Hunter: World has already sold more than 8 million copies on PS4 and Xbox One. Here we have the game running on the entry-level AMD Ryzen 2400G.
The AMD Ryzen 2400G is a sub $150 APU that comes with 4 cores and AMD Vega 11 graphics. While it is an entry-level chip the graphics core is more powerful than what the Intel integrated graphics have to offer. You can check out Monster Hunter: World running on the AMD Ryzen 2400G below:
The AMD Ryzen 2400G has been paired with an Asus PRIME B350-PLUS with 2x8GB DDR4-3200 Ryzen Balanced Energy Profile has been used for the benchmarks and 2GB UMA VRAM has been defined. An external capture device has been used so that the performance in the game is not affected.
The resolution has been taken down to 900p which is not too decent but the AMD Ryzen 2400G is able to hold its own and you can see that the FPS fluctuates between 30 to 55 most of the time. There are dops here and there and in areas with little detail, the FPS goes to 60. This is impressive performance from a cheap entry level chip keeping in mind how intensive Monster Hunter: World is.
Monster Hunter: World is a decent game and you should check it out if you have a PC that can handle the game. You can turn down the graphics if you have older hardware but if you are interested in playing Monster Hunter: World, then remember that you need at least a Haswell CPU in order to run the game. Anything older than that and you won’t be able to play the game.
Running the game on the 2200G might be possible as well but you would need to turn down the settings even further. That not might be worth it for some people.
