SIGGRAPH 2018: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Will Talk About VR, Games And Emerging Tech

Nvidia has confirmed that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will be taking to the stage at SIGGRAPH 2018 in order to talk about upcoming tech and that could mean more information about the upcoming Nvidia Turing based graphics cards, or even better, an official announcement.

Huang will talk about AI, real-time ray tracing and VR, among other things. This information has been provided by the Official Nvidia blog that states as follows:

For anyone whose life’s work involves computer graphics, there’s no event in the world like the annual SIGGRAPH conference. This year, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang will take the stage at the show in Vancouver, Canada, to share how AI, real-time ray tracing and VR are transforming the computer graphics industry.

Ray Tracing is not available for Pascal based graphics cards so we might be able to see the Turing graphics cards in action at SIGGRAPH 2018. There is a lot of anticipation around the event as reports claim that the upcoming graphics cards will be announced before the end of the month and will be hitting the shelves in September.

SIGGRAPH 2018 would be a great platform for Nvidia to announce the upcoming gaming graphics cards. The blog further highlights details regarding what the talk is going to be about when it will happen as well as where. The blog post reads as follows:
